Overview

Dozens of SKUs, every season, all reading as one confident brand on a crowded shelf.

VIZIO built its name making premium technology affordable, sold through every major U.S. big-box retailer. The shelf problem repeated each season: TVs, sound bars, cables, and all-in-one PCs, each on its own timeline, standing next to competitors with far larger budgets. The answer was never one hero package. It was a system, a set of rules for type, color, imagery, and structure that any product could plug into and still belong to the same family. I spent thirteen years inside Creative Services building it, moving from designer to art director to senior manager, building the ten-person team and writing the SOPs that kept quality and output steady while we launched 60+ products a year.

TVs and sound bars, every year across a 13-year run. One brand system, a lean team, and a production pipeline that kept pace with the roadmap.

Outcome

The same brand on a $30 cable and a flagship TV.

The system shipped nationwide across the major U.S. retailers and held together across hundreds of SKUs and seasonal refreshes. It let a lean team keep pace with a fast product roadmap, and gave a value brand the shelf confidence of a premium one at a fraction of the production time.
